PERSONALITY

Lucy is often seen as being quiet, calm and even distant at times. She does this to protect herself and others. If she looses control of her emotions she looses control of her abilities and everything around her goes up into flames, including her. Which, doesn't hurt her but it does make for some cool effects.
When she is able to control her emotions she is collected, a true born leader who is passionate about her team and only goal in life is to keep them safe and out of the hands of the Labs.
She if Fiercely loyal to the Titans, the only family she really knows and ever knew. She'd die for them in a heart beat and that just goes to show you how passionate she is about keeping them safe. She has more or less adopted the role of leader among the Titans, but she doesn't refer to herself as leader.
HISTORY
Lucy doesn't remember much of her life outside of the labs, the only face she remembers is that of her Uncle Jacks who hasn't been seen since she went missing. In the labs Lucy was sort of a prized Titan. She was powerful and she took commands like a soldier, the perfect soldier, until one day they decided to test her loyalty and torture another Titan in the 'cell' next to hers. She lost it, her own cell going up into flames and everything within 30 feet was hot to the touch.
After that it was clear that her emotions were strongly attached to her powers and so she was more or less physiologically tortured until she could no longer feel her emotions as strongly. She was once again the perfect soldier.
However, what they didn't know is that Lucy had devised a plan to escape and to take as many of the Titans with her. Her power was stronger then they realized and she was able to blow the steel door off of her cell by more or less melting the hinges.
After that she went on to free as many of her compatriots as she could, sadly having to leave a couple behind so she could get the others out. They escaped up the elevator and have been trailed by Venandi ever since.
